“The Hidden Workforce” is about the positive impact that people who live with different abilities make to the workforce and the world around them.
On our show, you will hear:
Stories from people who live with a massive variety of different abilities who are breaking stigmas and shattering the glass ceilings placed over them. We have had CEOs, business owners, actors, actresses, authors, community contributors, survivors, and more who live with disabilities of all types and severities on our show sharing their stories and how they are where they are today.
Leaders from nonprofits all over the state of Oklahoma, Nationwide, and Worldwide who are serving people who live with disabilities.
Representatives from State agencies such as DRS, DDS, and more on the programs and services they offer to serve people with disabilities.
Service Providers and Provider Agencies.

What Did We Hear Last Week?
Last week, we continued our series of shows from the NABIS Live collaborative podcast hearing from Dr. Geoffrey Manley! In this episode, Dr. Manley shared with us about the roadmap to understanding Traumatic Brain Injury- from research to improving outcomes, about his Track TBI research, and more!
“Geoffrey T. Manley, MD, PhD is the Chief of Neurosurgery at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital where he co-directs the UCSF Brain and Spinal Injury Center and is Professor and Vice Chairman of Neurosurgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Manley is an internationally recognized expert in neurotrauma. He leads national and international clinical research efforts in the study of the short- and long-term effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI). Building on the success of the seminal, national longitudinal study, TRACK-TBI, Geoff, as Contact Principal Investigator, along with a nationwide team of TBI experts, has recently launched the TRACK-TBI NETWORK, an innovative, precision-medicine driven consortium that will test Phase 2 drugs for TBI. The TRACK-TBI studies have created a modern precision medicine information commons for TBI that integrates clinical, imaging, proteomic, genomic, and outcome biomarkers to drive the development of a new TBI disease classification system, which could revolutionize diagnosis, direct patient-specific treatment, and improve outcomes...“ (https://braininjurysummit2026.org/speaker/geoffrey-t-manley/)

Welcome to our REV UP the Vote series! REV UP stands for Register, Educate, Vote, and Use Your Power!
Your right to vote is your power! Especially when it comes to demographics, such as our friends who live with different abilities, that are under-represented at these crucial voting booths!
In this show series, we empower and educate our friends with different abilities and their loved ones on all they need to know about voting, accessibility in voting, why voting is important, what the different offices up for election are in Oklahoma and why they are important- as well as information about all the candidates up for these different offices (and help you learn/know how to do your own research), and so much more! Every episode is produced inclusively with differently abled self-advocates with a differently abled self-advocates’ voice and perspective participating in the conversation as well!
In this first episode, Lisa, Maggie, and Jacob chat about why voting is important- especially empowering and engaging voters who live with disabilities- and how all our voices and votes matter!
